What is pigmentation?
Many types of unwanted pigment occur from sun exposure, ageing and hormonal conditions. Pigment particles are very small and dense and can be highly difficult to treat when damaged by heat, that is why most lasers have traditionally been a risky choice with melasma and pigmentation. We use a higher peak power with a strong, non-thermal, photomechanical effect to shatter the pigment without causing thermal damage to the surrounding tissue.
How does Pico Second Pulses work?
