LASER HAIR REMOVAL
BEFORE & AFTER
About Laser Hair Removal
Our state-of-the-art laser hair removal technology has been designed for use on all skin types and can be safely and effectively used to treat hair on all areas of the face and body. The speciality cooling device also calms, soothes, and protects the skin, making this treatment virtually painless.
We recommend a minimum of 6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart depending on the area we are treating. After your initial treatment program, the hair can be permanently reduced by up to 90%, with only occasional maintenance treatments required.
Everyone is slightly different though and individual results may vary, so we recommend booking in for a complimentary consultation with one of our experience laser technicians, who can answer any questions you may have.
Benefits of laser hair removal
- Reduction of unwanted hair
- Reduce the chance of ingrown hairs
- Avoid uncomfortable shaving rash
- Achieve silky smooth skin
- Cheaper than waxing
- Safe and effective technology
Before your treatment
Ensure you thoroughly shave the area at least 12 hours prior to your treatment. Make sure you avoid waxing and depilatory cream for a minimum of 4 weeks, and fake tan and excessive sun exposure must be avoided for at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
After your treatment
There may be some mild heat and redness in the skin as well as some follicular swelling. This can be quickly soothed using our Post Laser Gel, which we recommend applying morning and evening for 3-5 days.
For 24 hours we recommend avoiding any heat-based activities like very hot showers, saunas, hot yoga and excessive exercise, sun exposure and tight or restrictive clothing.
Roughly 2 weeks after your treatment you should start to gently exfoliate the area once a week to encourage the hairs to shed from the follicle and aid in the treatment of ingrown hairs.
FAQ’s
Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser hair removal has fast become one of the most effective options for permanent hair reduction. No laser clinic can claim 100% hair removal, as some hair will always strive to grow back. Re-growth can be affected by hormones and other biological factors which can vary from person to person.
Will laser get rid of ingrown hairs?
Laser can decrease the chance of experiencing ingrown hairs. When there is no hair in the follicle, there is less chance of an ingrown hair occurring.
Can all hair colours be treated with laser?
Using our medical grade equipment, our fully trained laser technicians can target any hair colour, except for grey, pale red, white and blonde. Generally, if the hair is darker than your skin colour, it can be treated. Although we do recommend a consultation to assess your suitability if you are unsure.
Can laser hair removal be used on darker skin types?
Yes, medical grade lasers offer safe and effective hair reduction for clients of all skin tones.
