What is Bio Remodelling?
An exciting new treatment! Only approved in Australia in 2022, Skin Bio Remodelling Injections stimulate the body’s cells to produce more collagen and elastin within the skin. This produces overall improvement in lines, wrinkles and volume across the entire skin’s surface without altering facial features like traditional dermal filler. This treatment has a tightening, smoothing and plumping effect that takes years off by using your own skin’s biology to remodel the skin!
About the Treatment
Bio Remodelling involves injections of a revolutionary hyaluronic acid made with patented NAHYCO® technology into minimal points. This has prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells counteracting skin laxity whilst improving and restoring firmness of the skin. One of the highest concentrates of hyaluronic acid on the market, this bio remodelling injection will improve the skin’s hydration all whilst preventing & reversing aging & sagging of the skin.
What Area’s Can Be Treated?
- Face – ideal for overall facial rejuvenation, fine lines, and skin rejuvenation
- Neck – smooth and plump the skin around the neck and minimise laxity
- Décolletage – smooth and refine the area around collar bone and upper chest
- Knees & Elbows – reverse laxity in knee and elbow area, reducing signs of ageing
- Hands – ideal for giving delicate skin a smoother and more refined appearance
- Stomach – great for tightening loose skin that might occur because of ageing or weight loss
How Many Treatments Will I Require?
The recommended protocol of treatments is a minimum of two treatments one month apart, however we recommend three treatments spaced one month apart for best results. To maintain this result a single treatment is performed every 6-12 months.
When Will I Notice Results?
Patients often report a hydrated skin appearance within days following the procedure, but results are generally visible 2-3 weeks after the first treatment, with optimum results 2-3 weeks after the third treatment. Due to the products ability to stimulate your body’s own collagen and elastin, results do continue to improve over time.
Is the Treatment Painful?
A tiny pin prick sensation may be felt during the treatment, however medical strength numbing is applied 20minutes before treatment to minimise any discomfort.
What is the Recovery Post Treatment?
Skin Bio-Remodelling injections are minimally invasive and require no downtime. If any bruises do occur, these will gradually resolve over 1-2 weeks.
Can I Combine Bio Remodelling with Other Injectables?
Skin Bio-Remodelling injections can be combined with other types of cosmetic injectables (such as dermal filler & anti-wrinkle), however if injecting in that same area it is recommended that these be spaced apart by 1-2 weeks.
Are There Any Sides Effects?
As with any medical procedure there are risks to consider. Some patients may experience some mild discomfort or bruising following treatment. There will be small bumps at the injection site that will subside within 2-3 hours. Serious side effects are rare.
